What is Smart Attire? - Smart Attire is the next generation of attire that will embed computing and sensing power in clothes, aiding in the development of novel personal monitoring services. Various services that we envision are:
  1. Elderly people's health care
  2. Safety of common people
  3. Personal and medical
  4. Entertainment
Feasibility of embedding clothes with computing devices has come about due to the revolution in the form of ever decreasing sizes of computing devices with sensing capabilities. So, are you ready to take a peek into what your wardrobe will look like in the near future? Click here!

Research issues
Several research challenges on various fronts of Computer Science are encountered during the development of smart attire. Examples include, development of prototypical hardware that suits the needs of an application, building an operating system and middleware that is specific to smart attire, proposing innovative ways to identify context awareness of the person, data mining for various statistical information regarding activities done in the past. The broad spectrum of various challenges involved and the current status of the project are explained in detail...
How can you help?
Can you contribute towards the development of our research?

Yes! There are several ways in which you can help us develop the prototype further. There are even *monetary* benefits!!  Details coming soon!
